Addis Ababa

These earrings are inspired by Addis Ababa — one of my hometowns, and a place that lives loud in every sense. The buzz of conversations on the street, the smell of coffee brewing on every corner, the colours, the smiles, the constant movement — it’s chaotic in the best way!

This piece is a nod to the taxis: the "blue donkeys". They zigzag through the traffic like they’ve got a rhythm of their own. Unpredictable, a little wild, but always getting you where you need to go. The shape and colour reflect that energy — bold, bright, full of character.
